Network Theory And Filter Design by Vasudev K.Aatre (Author)
An attempt has been made to include two aspects of network theory, analysis and synthesis under a single cover. Basics of network theory - formulation and solution of network equilibrium equations, network theorems and natural frequencies, multi-terminal networks, state models - are all discussed.
Essentials of approximation and passive network synthesis are presented as a prelude to filter design. A comprehensive introduction to active filter design with single and multi-amplifier is also provided. Higher order filter design based on simulated ladder methods is also introduced.
This book is intended for use as a text for undergraduate courses in network analysis and fundamentals of passive and active filter design for a two-semester course or a one-semester course for postgraduate courses.
