Lecture 2 : Overview of Basic Power Electronic Circuits from Layman’s Point of View

This lecture covers various topics of power electronics from a layman’s point of view andincludes basic operation of a dc-dc converter, inverter and ac voltage controller. The use of a Triac in ac voltage controller is explained with the example of a fan regulator.
